Native Plant Day at the Native Plant Nursery (Palo Alto)
Wed Sep 12, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, 2012 Palo Alto Baylands (Palo Alto)
In partnership with City of Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve
It’s time to transplant native seedlings and we need your help! Help us as we transplant native seedlings and perform general maintenance at our Native Plant Nursery in Palo Alto. We rely on volunteers like you to help our native seedlings grow into healthy plants that are ready to take on the wild wetlands. Join our team and become a part of our 100,000 acre restoration project. Together we can make a difference!
Due to the sensitive nature of the restoration site, space is limited and RSVP is requested. You must fill out the online registration form below to register yourself or a group of 10 people or less.
If you need more information about this or other events or if you would like to sign up a group larger than 10 people please contact Natalie LaKeidan at (510) 463-6809 or email bayevents@saveSFbay.org.
No experience necessary. Gloves, tools and instruction provided. Each event is led by Save The Bay staff certified in CPR and Wilderness First Aid and all site projects have been planned to ensure safety.
