Explore the Beauty of Wetlands at MLK Jr. Native Plant Nursery (Oakland)
Wed Mar 6, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, 2013 MLK Shoreline (Oakland)
In partnership with East Bay Regional Park District
Everyone deserves a midweek marsh break. Join us for a weekday reprieve from the concrete jungle and learn about local, native plants such as gumplant, jaumea, and salt grass as you help settle them in the soil. Breathe fresh air and feel the sun on your face as we work towards our goal of planting 30,000 natives by the end of March.
Due to the sensitive nature of the restoration site, space is limited and RSVP is requested. You must fill out the online registration form below to register yourself or a group of 10 people or less.
