Donate to Save The Bay

In 1961, three courageous women read an Oakland Tribune article predicting a dire fate for San Francisco Bay if reckless development continued. Where others turned the page, this trio changed the narrative.

Sylvia McLaughlin, Kay Kerr, and Esther Gulick formed a movement to Save The Bay. Decades later, Rachelle Cardona, Donna Ball, and Allison Chan are among the leading women educators, scientists, and policy experts moving our mission forward and battling pressing threats posed by climate change.

Your donation helps:

  • Rachelle Cardona and her colleagues energize thousands of young people through hands-on science activities.
  • Donna Ball and her team install thousands of plants annually and create restoration solutions to sea level rise.
  • Allison Chan advocate for communities affordable housing, sustainable transit, and pollution prevention.

Thank you for supporting our work to restore and protect San Francisco Bay!
