In partnership with East Bay Regional Park District

Take a break from the grind and join us for some weekday gardening in the wetlands. Volunteers will help care for native plants by collecting seeds at our restoration site and sowing them in our on-site nursery. Other activities include watering and general maintenance.

In partnership with East Bay Regional Park District

Help Save The Bay restore this urban shoreline, which includes some of the last remaining wetland habitat in the East Bay and is home to many species including the endangered California clapper rail and burrowing owls. Volunteers will focus on removing invasive weeds and trash that degrade the habitat of fish, shorebirds and invertebrates.

In partnership with the California Department of Fish and Game

Be part of the South Bay Salt Pond Restoration Project – the largest tidal wetland restoration project on the West Coast! Restoring this 600-acre former salt pond to thriving tidal wetlands will increase habitat for endangered birds and fish, and provide new recreation opportunities to residents who have been walled off from the shoreline for decades. Volunteers will clean up the shoreline by removing weeds and picking up trash.
