Wetlands Restoration Project at Bothin Marsh (Mill Valley)
Saturday, September 6
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
FreeVolunteer Now
In partnership with Marin County Open Space District

Save The Bay recently began work at this preserve at the north end of Richardson Bay. Surrounded by cordgrass and pickleweed, Bothin Marsh is home to several endangered species, including the California clapper rail and the salt marsh harvest mouse. Help create healthy habitat for these endangered species by removing non-native iceplant and replacing it with native salt grass. We are offering these programs to adults only.

Saturday, October 4

3:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.Register Now
Cost: $35 Save The Bay members; $45 non-members
In partnership with California Department of Fish & Game

Join Save The Bay on a journey through the winding sloughs of Petaluma marsh! We will enjoy the calm of the early evening as we explore one of the largest remnant marshes in the Bay Area, teeming with bird and aquatic life, and enjoy the sunset before paddling back to shore. This easy canoe paddle showcases a side of the Bay rarely seen from land and is fun for the whole family. Light refreshments and snacks will be served.
