Love birds? Each fall, over one million birds from at least 250 species visit the Bay as a stopover point or destination during the fall migration. As the west coast’s largest estuary, the San Francisco Bay’s mudflats and marshes offer protection and food to these birds on their strenuous journey. Help Save The Bay with trash clean-up and weeding to prepare these important habitats for the coming birds.
