Volunteer with Save The Bay

You can have fun outdoors, learn about the Bay and help us protect it by joining one of our on-the-Bay programs. Sign up below to volunteer to restore natural wetland habitats by hand at several sites around San Francisco Bay.

Please let us know if you are interested in scheduling a special volunteer program for your corporate or community group.

Sat Jun 15, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, 2013, Creekside Park (Marin)

Free

In partnership with Marin County Department of Parks and Open Space

Help us honor our fathers early this Saturday morning! Show Dad you care by helping us pull out invasive species at Creekside Park. With your help we can create space for all kinds of fathers: a place for wildlife species to forage for their offspring, a safe, clean haven for fish to spawn, and beautiful places for play!  So come on out and celebrate all our fathers with Save The Bay!

Sat Jul 20, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, 2013, Eden Landing (Hayward/Union City)

Free

In partnership with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services

Come help Save the Bay at Eden Landing in Hayward/Union City and witness the power of numbers on this special collaborative day. Volunteers like you will be working simultaneously at four different restoration sites around the Bay. You will learn about local, native plants such as sticky monkey flower, marsh coyote bush, and salt grass while we work together to  help endangered animals by pulling out invasive plants and removing trash that threatens their habitat. Your contribution will make the Bay a healthier place to live, work and play.
