Free
In partnership with the Department of Fish and Game
Clean up this former salt pond on Coastal Cleanup Day and help create healthy habitat for shorebirds and other Bay wildlife. Trash is a serious problem in the Bay; and because much of the trash in our water is plastic, it never biodegrades. These large amounts of garbage threaten Bay wildlife, who often become entangled or eat the trash, mistaking it for their regular diet. Don’t miss this opportunity to help Bay wildlife and be part of the largest cleanup event in California!
